Hey thanks to everyone who left me comments while I was gone.
I hope everyone had a Happy New Year, and Eid. Missouri was fun ( no snow
), I got to see my cousins baby, well I guess she is not a baby anymore she is two now. A baby the last time I saw her. I went to the skating rink and nearly busted my lip, none the less it was fun. I drove down with my Uncle from St. Louis to south bend Indiana, where I saw some of my cousins I had never seen before.
I’ve been wanting to see them for years, we all went to see the movie “Dream Girls” which was great! I love movies that show African Americans in a positive way, seeing a movie that is not related with “Drugs”, “Gang Violence”, or ” Break Dancing .” Not to say it is bad, but it is always nice for a change. I also went to this really nice Kwanzaa festival which my cousin April was in. They did African dance, and told the history behind Kwanzaa.
I enjoyed every bit of Missouri, and I was really sad to leave.
I came home just before New Year’s, I promised my friend Caitlin I would come home before she went to Southern Utah University. Iam really proud of her, she has been my best friend since I was three. We went downtown to see the fireworks, which was also really nice.
It was “Alot” of people downtown. Caitlin and I stood in the cold for three hours, because the police closed of the streets. It was all worth it, all this time I’ve lived in Vegas I have never went to see the fire works. It was kind of ironic that it was Caitlin’s first New Year too, and that it was both our last year together in Vegas.
Back to the ” Ole Grind”, school and work! Oh well spring break is not that far away, Salaams.

Sounds like you had a blast
Eid Mubarak and Happy New Years!
sigh, going back to the grind is such a pain.
